We shot the last scene of the screenplay first—a few reasons for this. The last scene had Raphael about ten years older, and we needed the actor Connor Tuohy to grow his beard to play the part to make him look older along with some make-up. You will note a smaller production crew with a one-camera set. We were following the rules and shooting times of the condo association. A total of four locations were used for filming. Interestingly, Connor could “cry on demand,” a unique acting skill. Not only on demand but for the length of time it took us to get the proper coverage, I never knew someone had as many tears. But, by the end of the evening shoot, we all laughing and had a pleasant time.
