During our rehearsal days before Asherah’s Colors II filming, we did some photo shoots of Shira Behore, who plays our lead protagonist, Asherah, in her wardrobe.

In one of the photos, she stands in front of her portrait painted by an internationally famous artist, Hessam Abrishami. Hessam and his wife, Star Mortezavi, played themselves in the film.

I had a reader ask me about the two medallions Shira wears and if there was any significance to them. The answer is yes. One is a Dolphin wrapped around an Anchor, and the other is the Tree of Life. The Dolphin/Anchor motif represents hope, and the Tree of Life is a female creation form of Sefirot.
